JailHost
Find out how you will be able to take full advantage of the "JailHost" option within your control panel and how it can protect all your web sites.
In case you host multiple websites within the very same account and one of them is hacked, it is very likely that all of them will get hacked afterwards. There are different reasons why this may happen, the two most common are: using very weak passwords or using outdated scripts with well-known vulnerabilities. That way, a single compromised Internet site can make a lot of damage to all of your websites, because getting access to one script often allows hackers to access the entire Internet hosting account. This is the reason why we have developed a new security option named JailHost. Once turned on, this feature will literally lock an Internet site inside its folder, so if an attacker takes over it, the remaining sites in the account will remain hidden. Thus they'll be protected from further intrusion. The JailHost option does not mean that you should not keep your websites updated, but it'll greatly limit the damage.

JailHost in Cloud Hosting
You can take advantage of JailHost with every single
cloud hosting plan that we provide and protect your Internet sites against attacks really easy. Every single domain and subdomain in the Hepsia Control Panel that comes with our packages has a different folder and in contrast to what often happens with many other Control Panels, the site content isn't mixed up in a single main folder, so maintaining your sites separate will be much easier. Allowing JailHost for any website takes only a couple of clicks, so even if you do not have much experience, you won't need any specific skills in order to keep your Internet sites secure. The option is not active by default in case that you intend to use a script that needs access to an additional folder in your account. If you use JailHost, the other sites that you have will be secured, but even a hacked one won't remain affected for too long since we will have several daily backup copies for it at all times, so we could promptly restore it.
